IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting Machine Operators on behalf of a manufacturing client based in Wellington, near Taunton, Somerset.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Machine Operators, Production Operatives, Manufacturing Operatives, Machine Operatives, and Production Technicians looking to join a growing manufacturer offering structured training, career progression, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
What We Offer*Starting pay of £13.34 per hour.
*Pay increases during training, rising to £17.26 per hour when fully trained.
*All breaks paid.
*Monday to Friday, rotating shifts:*6am-2pm.
*2pm-10pm.
*40-hour working week.
*Temporary to permanent opportunity.
*33 days’ holiday after 12 weeks.
*Structured training programme and clear career progression.
*Pay reviews and overtime enhancements.
*Weekly pay.
Key Duties*Operate and programme production machinery.
*Manually handle and filter materials through machines.
*Top up chemical and fluid levels on machinery.
*Change tooling to manufacture different products.
*Fault-find and resolve production issues to maintain workflow.
*Work across a variety of machines and production tasks.
*Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
Requirements*Willingness to work in a physically demanding and noisy manufacturing environment (hearing protection provided).
*Reliable, motivated, and able to work with a high level of attention to detail.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a small production team.
*Basic mechanical understanding is beneficial.
