MFL French Teacher (French Specialist)
Location: Harrow, North West London
Start Date: September
Salary: Pay to Scale (MPS/UPS)
Contract: Full-Time
Prospero Teaching is recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated MFL French Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Harrow from September. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and deliver engaging French lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. There may also be the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5, depending on experience.
The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality teaching, raising student achievement, and creating a positive learning environment where all pupils can thrive. The school offers a supportive leadership team, excellent professional development opportunities, and a welcoming staff community.
The Role*Teach French across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential).
*Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
*Monitor and assess student progress, providing effective feedback.
*Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment with high expectations.
*Contribute to the wider success of the MFL department and school community.
The Ideal Candidate*Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
*Has experience teaching French within UK secondary schools.
*Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management.
*Is passionate about modern foreign languages and committed to student success.
*Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
