T2M Resourcing are working with an international client seeking an experienced IFRS Technical Accounting Consultant to support a group restructuring project. Including the disposal several entities. This role will deliver high-quality technical accounting outputs for external audit as part of the program.
As Interim IFRS Technical Accounting Consultant key responsibilities will include:
*Prepare audit-ready technical accounting papers for disposals and restructuring activities.
*Produce IFRS compliant accounting analyses, journal entries and financial statement disclosures.
*Calculate disposal gains/losses, assess accounting treatments and document key judgements.
*Support external audit requirements with robust, well-documented technical papers.
*Work closely with Group Finance to ensure a smooth handover at project completion.
To be successful as Interim IFRS Technical Accounting Consultant, you will have the following skills and experience:
*ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified.
*Strong IFRS technical accounting background within large multinational organisations.
*Proven experience of disposal accounting, deconsolidation, M&A transactions and Group restructurings.
*Experienced in preparing technical accounting papers for external audit.
*Excellent knowledge of IFRS and IAS standards, particularly IFRS and 12 and IAS 1, 21 and 32.
