Clements Young Ltd is currently recruiting for a reliable 3.5 Tonne Driver on behalf of our client based in Norwich.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for flexible, ad-hoc driving work. Shifts are available on various days throughout the week, with early morning starts between 3:00am and 4:00am depending on the day’s delivery schedule.
You’ll be completing local deliveries throughout Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex, using a company vehicle with a sat nav provided.
Duties will include:*Completing local deliveries across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex
*Loading and unloading the vehicle when required
*Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
*Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
*Following delivery routes using the company sat nav
*Completing delivery paperwork accurately
*Providing excellent customer service
*Keeping the vehicle clean and presentable
*Following all road traffic legislation and health & safety procedures
What we’re looking for:*Full UK Driving Licence
*Previous 3.5 tonne driving experience is desirable
*Good knowledge of Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex is beneficial
*Reliable, flexible and punctual
*Comfortable with 3:00am–4:00am starts
*Good communication and customer service skills
*Ability to work independently
*Good attention to detail
*Physically fit, as some loading and unloading may be required
Pay:£14.24 per hour (PAYE Advanced – includes rolled-up holiday pay)
Working Hours:*Ad-Hoc shifts
*Shifts can fall on any day of the week, including weekends
*Early starts between 3:00am and 4:00am depending on the day’s loads
*Ongoing opportunities with the potential for regular work
