The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is seeking experienced and compassionate SEND Tutors to provide tailored 1:1 tuition to children and young people across the Wirral.
As a SEND Tutor, you’ll work closely with learners who require additional support due to a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. By delivering personalised lessons, you’ll help students build confidence, develop key skills and achieve meaningful educational progress.
Position Details
* Location: Wirral
* Position: SEND Tutor
* Hours: 5-15 hours per week (flexible)
* Start Date: September 2026
* Duration: Ongoing
Experience, Training and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
* Experience delivering 1:1 tuition or teaching
* QTS or an equivalent qualification (desirable)
* A patient, adaptable and engaging approach
To be eligible, you must:
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
* Provide two professional child-related references
