Job Description:
Full job descriptionNEW VACANCY: We are recruiting for a well established medium sized freight forwarding company who are looking for an experienced export clerk who has strong airfreight experience.
Duties include:
*Bookings with airlines / hauliers and shippers
*Negotiating rates with airlines
*Completing full customs entries using CDS
*Dealing with all types of freight including DG shipments
*Staying up to date with market rates and being commercially aware to provide quotes to customers
*Customer service / handling key accounts
*Liaising with import department and working with warehouse / transport team
The working hours are: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 17.30pm
They are looking with someone who has a stable work history (no more than 2 / 3 jobs in 5-10 years)
This would suit someone who is looking to join a growing company that offer progression.
