Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting enthusiastic and caring Nursery Assistants to work on a supply basis across a range of welcoming nurseries and early years settings in Birmingham from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Nursery Assistants, Early Years Practitioners, or childcare professionals seeking flexible work while making a positive impact on children’s early development.
The RoleAs a Supply Nursery Assistant, you will:
*Support children aged 0-5 in their learning and development
*Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment
*Assist with indoor and outdoor play activities
*Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development
*Work collaboratively with nursery staff and parents
*Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times
The Ideal Candidate*Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
*Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (desirable but not essential)
*A caring, patient, and positive attitude
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A flexible approach and willingness to work in different settings
*An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
