Lunaria Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Senior Optical Assistant to join a friendly, well-established independent optical practice in Bracknell.

The RoleAs a Senior Optical Assistant, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional patient experience from the moment customers enter the practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Welcoming patients and providing outstanding customer service
*Carrying out pre-screening and eye health checks
*Ensuring a smooth and professional handover to the Optometrist
*Dispensing spectacles and advising on lens options
*Helping patients choose frames that suit their lifestyle and style preferences
*Managing collections, adjustments, repairs, and aftercare appointments
*Fitting and adjusting spectacles to ensure comfort and accuracy
*Supporting contact lens teaches and ongoing care
*Completing administrative duties accurately and efficiently
*Maintaining the high standards expected within a respected independent practice
*Supporting the day-to-day running of the practice and assisting junior team members where required

About YouTo be considered for this role, you will need:
*Previous experience working in an optical practice
*Experience in dispensing and pre-screening
*Excellent communication and customer service skills

*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*A genuine passion for helping people and delivering exceptional service
*The confidence to support colleagues and take on additional responsibility within the team
