Rate of pay: £22 per hour (outside IR35)
Pay methods: Sole Trader, Limited company or via Umbrella PAYE
Location: Multiple locations across Lincolnshire
Hours: Full-time, part-time & compressed hours available
Contract: Temporary ongoing


Purpose: We are currently seeking Investigative Consultants to join our Peel Consultancy Team within the Protecting Vulnerable People Unit.


Duties:
*Securing and reviewing evidence, including witness statements, CCTV, and documentary evidence.
*Victim and Witness Support: Engaging with victims and witnesses in a sensitive and professional manner.
*File Preparation: Assisting with the preparation of case file material and other operational documents.
*Analysing phone and device download reviews.
*Follow up outside enquiries
*Use internal IT systems to research and maintain records regarding individuals and investigation
*Maintain case progression timelines
*Reduce missed opportunities, evidential errors or investigative delays
*Safeguarding practice
*Evidence Gathering


Essential Experience:
*Detective/PIP2 or equivalent experience
*Experience within a Major Incidents Team or Public Protection Unit/Protecting Vulnerable People Unit


Desirable Experience:
*Experience interviewing and obtaining statements from vulnerable adults (ABE)
