Provided data architecture leadership for a large-scale public sector discovery, defining the data strategy, governance framework, and information architecture required to enable secure data sharing across multiple organisations.
Key Responsibilities*Led the data architecture workstream, identifying data risks, dependencies, and opportunities across complex organisational landscapes.
*Defined target data models, schemas, and integration requirements to support operational and analytical outcomes.
*Designed scalable data architecture patterns, including cloud-based data platforms, APIs, and data-sharing solutions.
*Established information governance, data protection, and security frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational standards.
*Collaborated with delivery, product, business analysis, and engineering teams to develop data-driven prioritisation and decision-support models.
*Validated data architecture assumptions through prototyping and user testing, translating findings into future-state architecture recommendations.
*Produced data strategy, governance, and architectural outputs to support progression into the next phase of delivery.
*Provided expert advice to senior stakeholders on data management, interoperability, and information governance.
