MFL French Teacher (French Specialist)
Location: Hounslow, West London

Salary: Pay to Scale (MPS/UPS)
Contract: Full-Time
Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated MFL French Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Hounslow from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and deliver engaging French lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates.
The successful candidate will be committed to delivering outstanding teaching, raising student achievement, and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment. The school has a supportive leadership team, a collaborative MFL department, and a strong commitment to staff development.
The Role*Teach French across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential).
*Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
*Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
*Foster a positive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
*Contribute to the wider life of the MFL department and school community.
The Ideal Candidate*Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
*Has experience teaching French in UK secondary schools.
*Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and effective classroom management.
*Is passionate about modern foreign languages and committed to helping students succeed.
*Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
