Full job descriptionJob Title: Senior Commercial Policy Advisor
Location: London - 2 days per week in central London
Key Responsibilities
The primary focus of the role is to support a major analytical project. The successful candidate will work with evidence and research delivered by external contractors, interpreting findings and applying commercial policy expertise to identify and assess potential risks.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and analyse evidence produced by
contractors.
* Apply commercial policy knowledge and stakeholder insight to identify supply chain and market risks.
* Undertake targeted research into specific risk areas.
* Develop draft proposals, recommendations, and policy options.
* Engage and collaborate with industry stakeholders.
* Lead workshops, including designing content and facilitating discussions.
* Gather feedback from stakeholders and incorporate this into revised proposals and draft outputs.
* Liaise regularly with senior leaders and key decision-makers.
Required Experience and Skills
* Strong supply chain experience, ideally involving complex supply networks and multiple suppliers.
* Ability to work with data, analyse findings, and draw evidence-based conclusions. AMS Confidential
* Experience managing external stakeholder engagement activities.
* Confidence in organising and delivering workshops and engagement events.
* Strong written communication skills, with most stakeholder engagement taking place via email.
* Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
* Comfortable facilitating in-person workshops and presenting to a range of audiences.
