Full job descriptionRG Consultancy are working with a very well-established SME in Wrexham who are recruiting for Credit Controller to join their small accounts team on a part-time basis.

Role Responsibilities
*Manage the credit control for an SME along with sales ledger and maintain accurate customer accounts
*Chase outstanding payments via phone calls and email
*Allocate payments and reconcile customer accounts
*Resolve invoice queries and payment disputes
*Assess new customer accounts and monitor credit limits
*Produce aged debt reports and monitor overdue accounts
*Work with internal teams to resolve account issues
*Negotiate payment plans if and when appropriate
*Support month-end processes and maintain accurate records
*Assist with general finance duties as required
Person Specification
*Previous experience working within a Credit Control, Sales Ledger or similar role
*An AAT or credit management qualification would be an advantage, however not essential
*Experience within a manufacturing or similar business is an advantage
*Strong communication and customer service skills, over the phone and by email
*Strong IT skills including accounting software and MS Excel
