Full job descriptionA Newcastle based organisation is looking to appoint a Head of Finance Systems to lead a newly established Finance Systems function during an exciting period of growth, change and investment.
This Newcastle based position is a highly visible leadership role, reporting into a senior Finance leader and working closely with both Finance and IT stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for leading the Finance Systems team, driving the systems roadmap, and supporting a number of key initiatives across reporting, automation, data and technology.
Key Responsibilities*Lead, develop and mentor the Finance Systems team
*Manage a complex Finance Systems support function
*Own the Finance Systems strategy and roadmap
*Oversee a multi-system finance environment
*Partner with senior Finance, IT and Operational stakeholders
*Drive continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives
*Support major programmes across reporting, automation and data
*Help shape the future use of technology, analytics and AI within the function
About YouYou will ideally bring:
*Strong people management experience
*Finance Systems ownership and leadership experience
*ERP implementation, support or optimisation experience
*A track record of delivering change and transformation
*Excellent stakeholder management skills
*The ability to bridge the gap between Finance and IT
Experience with reporting, Power BI, automation, data initiatives or business intelligence would be advantageous.
