Clark Wood are delighted to be working with a regional South Yorkshire based firm who are looking for an Accounts & Audit Assistant or Semi Senior to join their team in their office in the South of Sheffield.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established regional firm where you’ll work with a broad range of clients, develop your technical skills, and be supported every step of the way as your career progresses.

The role is predominantly audit-focused, giving you exposure to assignments from planning through to completion, while also involving the preparation of statutory accounts and other compliance work.

Roles & Responsibilities

Assisting on audit assignments for a varied portfolio of clients.
Supporting audit fieldwork both on-site and remotely.
Preparing statutory accounts and assisting with corporation tax work.
Building strong relationships with clients and working closely with managers and senior team members.

Ideal candidate

AAT qualified or currently studying ACA or ACCA.
Experience working in a UK accountancy practice.
Previous involvement in audit assignments.
Keen to learn, develop, and build a long-term career in practice.
