Full job descriptionProject Manager – Refurbishments & Backlog Maintenance
London | 6 months | £400 per day (outside IR35)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a busy estates projects team within a large NHS organisation.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing minor works, backlog maintenance projects and cyclical works, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
*Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple projects across London
*Lead feasibility studies and develop project briefs with stakeholders
*Produce specifications
*Manage contractors, consultants, and on-site works
*Monitor budgets, timelines, and quality of delivery
*Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and health & safety requirements
*Provide regular project updates to senior stakeholders
About You
We are looking for a proactive and organised individual with strong technical and stakeholder management skills.
Essential:
*Degree or equivalent qualification in construction, engineering, surveying, or related discipline
*Proven experience delivering projects in a healthcare environment
*Strong budget management and commercial awareness
*Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
*Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
