Full job descriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for a Fitter/Service Support based in Castleford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis.
Summary of the Fitter/Service Support role
Salary: £35,000
Location: Castleford
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours – Monday – Thursday 8.15am-4.30pm Friday – 8.15-1.45pm
Responsibilities of theFitter/Service Support
*De-contamination of pump units
*Dismantling, inspection and reporting of pump unit condition
*Identification of spare parts required from drawings
*Mechanical measurements of components
*Electrical inspection, assembly and testing of pumps
*Assisting within other departments when required
Requirements for a successful Fitter/Service Support
*Confined space training
*Overhead crane, Lifting & slinging operator licence
*Water Hygiene qualified
*Full clean driving license
*Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or similar or time served
*Experience in Electric motor & control equipment
*Fault finding skills
*Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
*Forklift licenses
