We’re looking for a qualified Management Accountant to join a growing finance team. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for month-end reporting, balance sheet control and maintaining accurate financial records, while supporting continuous improvement across the finance function.
Key Responsibilities*Prepare monthly management accounts with P&L and balance sheet analysis.
*Produce and post journals, including accruals and prepayments.
*Take ownership of fixed asset accounting, including CapEx, capitalisation, depreciation and disposals.
*Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure accurate accounting for capital expenditure.
*Manage payroll accounting and operational cost reporting.
*Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items.
*Support month-end close, statutory accounts and external audit requirements.
*Assist with financial controls, reporting improvements and finance systems development.
*Partner with budget holders to provide financial analysis and support business decision-making.
About You*ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
*Previous experience producing management accounts.
*Strong understanding of fixed assets, CapEx accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
*Experience with journals, accruals and prepayments.
*Good knowledge of UK GAAP.
*Strong Excel skills and experience using ERP systems.
*Proactive, analytical and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
