Thrive Education is recruiting Early Years Assistants to provide supply cover across a range of welcoming nurseries, pre-schools and early years settings in Stroud. Whether you’re looking for day-to-day supply, short-term assignments or long-term opportunities, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
As an Early Years Assistant, you’ll support children in their learning and development while helping nursery teams provide a safe, engaging and nurturing environment. Every day is different, giving you the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and gain valuable experience.
Responsibilities
*Supporting children through play and learning activities.
*Assisting with daily routines, including snack times and outdoor play.
*Creating a safe, caring and stimulating environment.
*Working alongside nursery staff to provide high-quality childcare.
*Following safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times.
What We’re Looking For
*Previous experience within a nursery, pre-school, school or childcare setting.
*A caring, enthusiastic and reliable approach.
*Strong communication and teamwork skills.
*Flexibility to work across different settings.
*An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is beneficial but not essential.
