About the Role
We are currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a secondary school in Berkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and committed to helping students achieve their full potential.
Working closely with teachers and support staff, you will play a key role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students aged 11-16.
Key Responsibilities
*Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
*Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students.
*Assist students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
*Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
*Support students with additional learning needs where required.
*Prepare classroom resources and assist with lesson activities.
*Promote positive behaviour in line with school policies.
Requirements
*Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
*Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
*Relevant qualifications or experience in education are advantageous but not essential.
