Job Description:
Full job descriptionSenior Cloud engineer | SC Cleared or eligible | 6 month initial contract | £450-500 OutsideIR35 | Remote with occasional onsite
Key requirements:
*Deep experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
*Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible or equivalent).
*CI/CD tooling (e.g. GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
*Strong Google Cloud experience, GKE in particular, and strong Linux systems administration.
*Understanding of secure, hardened deployments and network security, with security-conscious instincts suited to an environment subject to accreditation scrutiny.
*SC Clearance held or willingness to undergo.
Desirable:
*Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, Go).
*Experience in defence, government or regulated environments.
*Kubernetes certifications (CKA / CKAD).
*Experience supporting streaming, data or ML platforms at scale.
