Our client is seeking an experienced Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE to join its well-established Agriculture & Rural Affairs team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative and forward-thinking firm renowned for delivering practical, commercially focused advice to clients throughout the region.

The Role:
You will manage a diverse and interesting caseload while acting as a trusted adviser to a broad range of rural clients, including farmers, landed estates, rural businesses, landowners and agricultural partnerships.
Your work is likely to include:
*Sales and acquisitions of farms, estates and agricultural land.
*Agricultural and rural property transactions.
*Farm business tenancies and Agricultural Holdings Act matters.
*Easements, rights of way and boundary disputes.
*Renewable energy projects, including solar, battery storage and wind developments.
*Strategic land and development agreements.
*Rural diversification projects.
*Agricultural partnership agreements and succession planning.
*Landlord and tenant matters.
*Working closely with colleagues across Private Client, Commercial Property and Corporate teams to provide a seamless service to clients.
*Developing and maintaining long-standing client relationships through networking and business development activities.
About You:
The successful candidate will have:
*A minimum of 5 years’ PQE as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
*Previous experience advising on agricultural and rural affairs matters.
*Strong technical knowledge with a commercial and pragmatic approach.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*The ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
*A genuine interest in the rural sector and the challenges faced by farming and landowning clients.
*A proactive attitude and enthusiasm for contributing to the continued success of the department.
