Full job descriptionA well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Southampton is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join their growing team, offering flexible working, a company pension, and much more. As Audit Manager, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of audit clients, leading engagements from planning through to completion while mentoring junior team members and supporting the firm’s continued growth. You will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships and upholding the highest standards of audit quality.

What is the day-to-day of the role:
*Manage a portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors and sizes
*Plan, execute, and finalise audit assignments in line with regulatory standards
*Supervise, coach, and develop junior members of the audit team
*Liaise directly with clients to build and maintain strong working relationships
*Identify opportunities to add value and cross-sell additional services
Required Skills and Qualifications:
*ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
*Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
*Proven experience managing audit engagements and leading teams
*Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting
*Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
