About the RoleAll Square Recruitment is excited to partner with a reputable client based in Colchester, Essex, to recruit a dedicated Dispatch Operative. This is a fantastic temporary to permanent opportunity offering genuine future progression, ideal for a licenced Forklift (FLT) driver looking to build a long-term career within a busy warehouse and dispatch environment. A valid FLT Licence is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities*Operate a Forklift (FLT) safely and efficiently within a busy Warehouse, Production, and Dispatch area
*Load and dispatch goods accurately and in a timely, organised manner
*Carry out manual handling duties, regularly lifting items up to 25kg
*Work within a fast-paced goods-in and dispatch department, processing deliveries and outgoing loads accurately
*Collaborate closely with the wider team to ensure goods are handled, dispatched, and processed efficiently
*Adhere strictly to health & safety and manual handling guidelines at all times
*Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with dispatch and warehouse procedures
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications*A valid, in-date FLT Licence is essential for this role
*Previous experience in a Dispatch or Warehouse environment is highly desirable
*Comfortable and physically able to lift up to 25kg regularly as part of manual handling duties
*Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
*Good communication skills and a reliable, punctual work ethic
*Willingness to work within a busy Warehouse, Production, and Dispatch environment
*A current, up-to-date CV is required upon application
