Job Description:
Full job descriptionGBR Recruitment Ltd are working in exclusive partnership with a leading steel structures company based in Leicestershire recruiting for two experiencedMIG Welder Fabricators to construct & assemble mild steel & stainless steel parts adhering to the set project specifications / technical drawings.
Key duties include:
*Reading & working to technical engineering drawings
*Cutting / forming materials, grinding, bending using workshop machinery (e.g., press brakes, guillotines & drills)
*Fabricating & producing high-quality MIG welds on mild steel, stainless steel & aluminium
*Performing MIG welding quality & dimensional checks against set specifications.
*Maintain, clean, and perform preventative maintenance on welding torches, gas lines, and fabrication tools.
Attributes:
*Proven experience in a MIG fabricator welder role, using mild & stainless steel to produce bespoke builds.
*Capability to work with and adjust techniques for mild steel, stainless steel & aluminium works.
*Current or previous coded welding certifications / time served welder
*High attention to detail with the ability to use precision measuring tools
*Used to working in a workshop & happy to be workshop based.
