Job Description:
Full job descriptionReed HR are recruiting for an established manufacturing business seeking an experienced HR professional to join their team and take ownership of the people function across multiple sites.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced HR advisor or a Senior HR Advisor looking to step into a broader role with greater autonomy and responsibility.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture, supporting managers through people-related challenges and ensuring employees receive a professional and supportive HR service.
Responsibilities will include:
*Providing expert guidance on a wide range of HR matters across multiple sites.
*Partnering with managers to support employee wellbeing, engagement and performance.
*Overseeing recruitment activity and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new starters.
*Managing employee relations cases and supporting managers through workplace issues with practical and commercially focused advice.
*Developing and improving HR processes, policies and documentation.
*Supporting organisational change projects, including redundancy consultations and TUPE processes.
*Working alongside leadership teams to identify opportunities to enhance employee experience and retention.
*Supporting the ongoing development of Health & Safety standards and promoting a safe working environment.
*Helping to ensure the business meets its obligations in relation to employment legislation and workplace compliance.
This is a highly visible role that will suit someone who enjoys building relationships, influencing stakeholders and making a genuine difference within a growing organisation.
The successful candidate will have:
*Previous experience within a generalist HR role, operating at HR Advisor, Senior HR Advisor or HR Manager level.
*A strong understanding of employee relations and employment law.
*Experience supporting organisational change, including redundancy and TUPE activity.
*CIPD Level 3 qualified as a minimum.
*A practical and hands-on approach with excellent communication skills.
*The flexibility to support a multisite operation and adapt to changing business priorities.
