We’re currently recruiting Class 2 (Category C) HGV Drivers on behalf of a well-established company within the waste management industry. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified drivers looking to build a long-term career, with full training provided and the chance to secure a permanent position.
The Role:*Monday to Friday
*12-week temp-to-perm opportunity
*06:45am start (approximately 50 hours per week)
*Delivering, collecting and exchanging skips
*Operating Skip, RoRo and Tipper vehicles
*Completing daily vehicle checks and recording deliveries using a PDA
*Ensuring all work is completed safely and within scheduled time slots
What We’re Looking For:*Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
*Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
*Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply
*Previous Skip or RoRo experience is an advantage, but full training is available
*Experience using chains is beneficial
*Own transport to travel to and from work
*Good understanding of health & safety procedures and drivers’ hours regulations
