We are working with a Chambers Band 1 and Legal 500-ranked regional law firm seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor at 2–5 PQE to join its highly regarded team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded solicitor looking to develop their career within a strong property practice, working on high-quality transactions for a diverse and sophisticated client base.
The Team
The Commercial Property team acts for clients across the UK, including:
*Property developers and investors
*Major corporates
*Public bodies, schools and education organisations
*Owner-occupiers, retailers, landlords and tenants
*Entrepreneurs and owner-managed businesses
*Healthcare organisations and charities
*Banks and other lenders
*Hospitality businesses
The Work
You will handle a broad range of commercial property matters, including:
*Landlord and tenant
*Property development
*Commercial property sales and acquisitions
*Investment and owner-occupied property
*Secured lending and property finance
*Corporate and private client property matters
*Charity, education and healthcare property
*Hospitality and leisure property
The team regularly acts opposite major national and international law firms, providing exposure to sophisticated transactions and high-quality counterparties.
The Opportunity
You will have the opportunity to:
*Manage your own caseload and transactions
*Work closely with experienced Partners and senior lawyers
*Build long-term client relationships and develop client ownership
*Provide commercially focused advice
*Work across a range of sectors and transactions
*Contribute to business development and networking
*Support junior team members where appropriate
*Play an active role in the growth of the department
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
*2–5 years’ PQE in Commercial Property
*Strong technical knowledge across commercial property
*Excellent drafting, analytical and negotiation skills
*A commercially minded and practical approach
*Strong client care and relationship-building skills
*The ability to manage matters with appropriate autonomy
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*A proactive, positive and collaborative approach
Experience supervising or supporting junior lawyers would be advantageous.
