We’re recruiting for an HR Advisor to join a well-established organisation, offering the opportunity to support managers, lead on employee relations matters and coordinate learning and development activities across the business.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of HR, you’ll provide professional HR advice and support to managers and employees across a broad range of people matters. This is a varied role combining employee relations, HR compliance, recruitment support, learning and development coordination, HR systems management and process improvement.
You’ll also supervise the HR Administrator and play a key role in ensuring HR policies, procedures and practices remain compliant and effective.

Key Responsibilities
*Provide expert HR advice on employment law, policy and best practice.
*Support managers with disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters.
*Conduct investigations and support formal employee relations processes.
*Assist with organisational change and HR projects.
*Review and develop HR policies and procedures.
*Ensure compliance with employment legislation, GDPR and safer recruitment requirements.
*Supervise and support the HR Administrator.
*Maintain HR systems and employee records.
*Support recruitment, onboarding, induction and probation processes.
*Coordinate learning and development activities and training programmes.
*Produce HR reports and analyse workforce trends.
*Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and service delivery.
Essential Skills & Experience
*Previous experience within a HR Advisor role.
*Strong employee relations experience.
*Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
*CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
*Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
*Proactive and solution-focused approach.
Desirable Skills
*Experience supporting organisational change initiatives.
*Learning and development or training coordination experience.
*Experience delivering training, workshops or inductions.
*Knowledge of safer recruitment processes.
*Experience supervising or mentoring colleagues.
*HR reporting and workforce analytics experience.
