An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Lawyer (NQ - 5 Years PQE) to join a respected and growing law firm in Marlow. The firm has an established Private Client department with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional client service and handling high-quality work across a broad range of matters.
This role would suit a Newly Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Private Client Lawyer with up to 5 years’ PQE who is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and ambitious team.
The Role
You will handle a varied caseload of private client matters while building strong relationships with individuals, families and high-net-worth clients.
Your work will include:
*Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
*Estate administration and probate matters
*Inheritance Tax and estate planning
*Trust creation, administration and advice
*Court of Protection matters
*Advising elderly and vulnerable clients
*Lifetime tax planning
*Business succession and wealth preservation planning
*Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
About You
Applications are welcomed from NQ Solicitors through to Private Client Lawyers with up to 5 years’ PQE.
You will ideally have:
*Experience in private client work gained during a training contract or post-qualification
*Strong technical knowledge of wills, probate and estate planning matters
*Excellent client care and communication skills
*A compassionate and professional approach to client relationships
*Strong drafting and organisational abilities
*The ability to manage a varied caseload effectively
*A STEP qualification or an interest in working towards one would be advantageous
