Are you an ambitious Paralegal looking to join a well-established and supportive law firm in Swindon? This is an excellent opportunity to develop your legal career within a busy and growing practice, working alongside experienced solicitors and legal professionals across a varied caseload.
The firm is seeking a proactive and organised individual who is looking to gain hands-on experience and progress their legal career in a professional and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assisting fee earners with the management of client files from inception to completion
*Drafting legal documents, correspondence and court forms
*Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries
*Liaising with clients, courts, barristers and third parties
*Managing diaries, appointments and key deadlines
*Opening and closing files in accordance with regulatory procedures
*Maintaining accurate case management records
*Supporting solicitors with administrative and legal tasks as required
Requirements:
*Previous experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant or similar legal support role
*Strong organisational and time management skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
*High attention to detail
*Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks effectively
*Strong IT skills, including experience using case management systems
*Law degree, LPC, SQE studies or equivalent legal qualification desirable but not essential
