The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cash & Working Capital Analyst to join a busy finance team. This role is ideal for a part-qualified finance professional looking to develop their treasury, cash management and working capital experience within a fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key role in managing cash flow forecasting, banking activities, financial reporting and process improvement initiatives, while working closely with both UK and international stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:
*Managing daily cash positions and liquidity requirements
*Maintaining and updating cash flow forecasts
*Processing and approving payments through online banking platforms
*Acting as a key contact for banking relationships and queries
*Monitoring and reporting on working capital performance
*Producing regular cash, debt and financial performance reports
*Reviewing bank reconciliations and supporting month-end processes
*Preparing VAT returns and assisting with regulatory submissions
*Maintaining banking mandates, user access and controls
*Supporting internal audit and compliance requirements
*Identifying opportunities to improve, streamline and automate finance processes
*Assisting with finance transformation and shared service initiatives
*Working closely with UK and overseas teams to ensure accurate financial processing
*Supporting stakeholder queries and resolving finance-related issues
Essential:
*3-5 years’ experience within a finance, treasury or working capital role
*Experience with cash flow forecasting and cash management
*Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable and working capital principles
*Experience preparing reconciliations and financial reports
*Strong Excel skills
*Experience using finance systems and ERP platforms
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
*Experience working with shared service or offshore finance teams
*Knowledge of Power BI
*Experience supporting process improvement projects
*Exposure to treasury or banking operations
*AAT qualified
*Studying towards ACCA or CIMA
*Degree not essential
