Pay Rate: £140 - £200 per day (dependent on experience)
Looking for a rewarding role in education? Supply Staff LTD is hiring an active Humanities Teacher for a secondary school in East London.
As a Humanities Teacher, you will inspire students to explore history, geography, and religious studies, while planning and delivering engaging lessons. This full-time Humanities Teacher position offers excellent career progression and stable pay rates.
Key Tasks:
- Plan and deliver targeted academic curriculum lessons across key stages.
- Guide student behaviour with patience, clear boundaries, and positive reinforcement.
- Assess, track, monitor, and report student progress to senior staff.
- Collaborate with the department to design and implement learning targets.
Requirements:
- Proven experience or relevant training as a Humanities Teacher in a UK secondary school.
- QTS, QTLS, or ECT status with a relevant degree or PGCE.
- Deep knowledge of humanities curriculum guidelines and classroom management.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply.
- Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.
