A Shift Engineer - Mechanical Key Responsibilities:
*Carry out planned preventative maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment.
*Respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues and repair faults effectively.
*Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
*Support the smooth operation of building services, including HVAC and plumbing systems.
*Collaborate with the wider facilities management team to resolve technical issues.
*Conduct regular inspections to identify potential mechanical problems.
*Maintain accurate records of work completed and ensure documentation is up to date.
*Provide technical advice and support to ensure effective operations.
Profile
A successful Shift Engineer - Mechanical should have:
*Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
*Experience working within facilities management or building services.
*Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to maintenance tasks.
*Knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations.
*Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, plumbing, or similar mechanical systems.
*Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
*A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently when required.
