We are seeking a Sales Trainer to accelerate the onboarding of new Sales Area Managers, develop and deliver continuous improvement sales trainings, and improve the performance of both residential and commercial/infrastructure sales teams. This player-coach role involves selling projects in addition to running and developing trainings.
Job Purpose:
*Deliver and continuously improve the onboarding tracks for residential and commercial/infrastructure teams, maintaining the existing structure.
*Conduct structured coaching cycles with individual Area Managers and team leaders, tailored to their specific needs and gaps.
*Assess and report on performance against the KPI suite, addressing underperformance with a documented improvement pathway.
*Collaborate with Sales Directors and local Managing Directors to design, maintain, and enhance the KPI suite for the sales organisation.
*Ensure effective Salesforce usage that supports the sales process, tracking and improving pipeline hygiene and forecasting inputs.
*Create and maintain clear, reusable documentation such as playbooks, process maps, call/visit frameworks, and objection handling guides.
*Periodically shadow and conduct live sales visits/calls to maintain credibility and stay current with field realities.
*Report training progress and ROI to Sales Directors, Local Managing Directors, and the COO.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in training technical/complex sales teams, with a personal track record of successful direct sales performance in a technical, project, or solution-sold environment.
*Strong working knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and how to embed process discipline through the CRM.
*Demonstrated ability to adapt coaching style to individuals, capable of both 1:1 coaching and group facilitation.
*Experience managing underperforming salespeople through a structured performance-improvement process.
*Track record of measurably improving profitable sales performance, not just activity/engagement metrics.
*Expertise in sales process design including pipeline stages, qualification, and account planning.
*Excellent documentation skills, able to produce playbooks, SOPs, and training collateral that are easy for others to use.
*Experience in KPI design and implementation, with a history of building and rolling out a KPI suite for a sales team.
*Willingness to periodically sell in the field alongside the team.
Benefits:
*Opportunity to work in a dynamic, multi-market environment.
*Competitive salary
*Bonus
*Travel opportunities across multiple regions.
*Exposure to a diverse and multicultural team.
