People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join our well-established client based in Leicester.
This position would suit applicants who have worked in roles such as a MIG Welder, Fabricator Welder or Sheet Metal Welder.
Rates of Pay:
*£14.50 per hour
Shift Pattern:
As a TIG Welder, you will work:
*Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
*Friday: 08:00 - 15:30

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as a TIG Welder are:
*Carrying out high-quality TIG welding to engineering drawings and specifications
*Welding stainless steel and other metals to a high standard
*Inspecting finished welds to ensure quality and accuracy
*Preparing materials ready for welding
*Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
*Operating welding equipment safely and efficiently
*Working as part of the production team to meet deadlines
*Following all health and safety procedures at all times
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a TIG Welder, you will need:
*Previous TIG welding experience
*The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
*Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
*Good communication skills
*A reliable and positive approach to work
*The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Experience:
To be successful as a TIG Welder, it would be beneficial if you have:
*Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
*Experience welding stainless steel and thin gauge materials
Training:
As a TIG Welder, you will receive:
*Training provided where required
*Successful candidates will be invited to attend a weld test and informal interview with the client before starting
