We are seeking a dedicated Maths Tutor to join our educational team. This role is based in Brighton and offers a competitive salary with the possibility of expanding responsibilities depending on the candidate’s skills and experience.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to students of varying ages and abilities.
*Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials that meet curriculum guidelines.
*Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help them improve.
*Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
*Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.
*Participate in departmental meetings, and professional development sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience as a Maths Tutor.
*Strong understanding of maths concepts and ability to teach them effectively.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to motivate and encourage students.
*Organisational skills to prepare for lessons and maintain records.
*Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to meet different learning needs.
