Cameron James Professional Recruitment is recruiting for an exciting Trainee Mortgage Advisor / Trainee Mortgage Broker opportunity with an established estate agency and mortgage business covering Medway, Kent.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who wants to become a fully qualified Mortgage Advisor and develop a long-term career offering excellent training, progression and high earning potential.
Candidates who already hold CeMAP 1 are particularly encouraged to apply.
The OpportunityYou will join an experienced mortgage team and receive structured training and ongoing support as you develop from a Trainee Mortgage Advisor into a fully competent Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker.
You will learn how to:
*Conduct client mortgage appointments and fact-finds
*Understand clients’ financial circumstances and requirements
*Research suitable mortgage products and lenders
*Support clients through the mortgage application process
*Develop knowledge of residential mortgages and remortgages
*Advise on protection products including life, critical illness and income protection
*Build strong, long-term client relationships
*Generate repeat business and referrals
*Work effectively alongside estate agency teams
As your knowledge and experience develop, you will take greater responsibility for your own clients and mortgage cases.

Who Are We Looking For?Previous mortgage advice experience is not essential.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have:
*CeMAP 1 qualification – highly desirable
*A genuine desire to become a Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*A professional and confident approach
*Strong customer service or sales skills
*The motivation to work towards targets and develop a successful career
*Full UK driving licence
*Clean credit history
Candidates currently working within banking, estate agency, mortgage administration, financial services, sales or customer service who want to progress into mortgage advice are encouraged to apply.
