You’ll play a key part in managing the Tech & SAAS contracts, to ensure best value for money & smooth renewals with suppliers. This will be working in a number of specific projects & so will be an Outside IR35 role!

This role is working within a busy & growing Procurement Team who work at a fast pace & so you will be required to come in and hit the ground running straight away! This role will be based in Leeds at least 3 days per week, however, they will cover your expenses!
Description
As Interim Senior IT Category Manager you will be reporting into the head of IT Category, duties will include, however, not be limited to:


*Manage IT procurement activities, including sourcing and supplier negotiations, mainly focusing on the Tech & SAAS
*Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
*Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and priorities.
*Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships.
*Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
*Prepare and present procurement reports and recommendations.
*Support the procurement and supply chain department with strategic initiatives.
Profile
A successful Interim Senior IT Category Manager should have:
*Proven experience in IT procurement, ideally with a SAAS & Tech focus.
*Strong knowledge of category management principles and practices.
*Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
*Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.


Job Offer
*Daily rate: £600 - £700 per day, dependent on the level of experience.
*Outside Ir35 rate
*Expenses & travel paid.
*Immediate Start role.
