Full job descriptionMy client is a leading Occupational Pensions Consultancy who, due to growth and promotion, are looking for an experienced Pensions Operations Manager to lead a Defined Contribution (DC) administration function.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior pensions professional to take ownership of service delivery, lead and develop high-performing teams, drive operational improvements, and play a key role in shaping the future direction of a growing pensions administration business.
The Role
As Pensions Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a DC administration team, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, compliant and efficient service to members and clients.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will drive continuous improvement, develop people and processes, and help deliver operational and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead, coach and develop administration managers and their teams
*Drive quality, efficiency and operational excellence
*Oversee complex member administration activity and complaint resolution
*Manage recruitment, performance, engagement and development initiatives
*Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
*Contribute to new business, tender submissions and client presentations
*Identify process and systems improvements
*Support strategic change and transformation projects
About You
To be successful, you will have:
*Extensive Defined Contribution pensions administration experience
*Strong technical knowledge of DC schemes
*Previous team leadership and people management experience
*Experience handling complex pension administration matters
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*Strong knowledge of governance, compliance and quality standards
*Commercial awareness and client-facing experience
*APMI qualification or equivalent experience would be advantageous
