Full job descriptionReed are supporting a highly successful regional accountancy firm who are looking to grow their financial reporting/outsourcing team and looking to recruit a part qualified accountant to support their clients.
*Take ownership of the preparation and review of statutory accounts under FRS102 and FRS105.
*Prepare, analyse and present monthly management accounts, including detailed variance analysis and clear commentary.
*Managing bookkeeping for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, ensuring accurate financial records.
*Preparation and submission of VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements.
*Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing timely support on general accounting queries and building strong working relationships.
*Liaising directly with clients to gather financial information and resolve queries efficiently.
*Preparation of corporation tax computations and supporting schedules.
*Identify opportunities to improve processes and add value to client engagements.
