People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Reach Truck Driver to join our well-established client based in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work and excellent rates of pay within a busy warehouse environment. Our client values its workers and offers a friendly, supportive working environment with progression opportunities.
This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as an FLT Driver, Reach Truck Driver, or FLT Operator, ideally with a D2 licence, as this warehouse operates a double deep racking system.
Rates of Pay:
*£13.60 per hour
*Night Shift: £15.64 per hour between 10:00pm and 7:00am (shifts start between 5:00pm and 6:00pm)
Shift Pattern:
*Any 5 days out of 7
*Day and night shifts available
*Shifts up to 12 hours

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as an FLT Reach Truck Driver are:
*Driving and operating a Reach Truck safely and efficiently
*Loading and unloading goods throughout the warehouse
*Receiving goods into the warehouse
*Checking incoming and outgoing stock for quantity and visual quality
*Organising stock ready for deliveries
*Moving stock around the warehouse as required
*Following all health and safety procedures at all times
*Supporting general warehouse duties where required
Essential Skills:
To be successful as an FLT Reach Truck Driver, you will need:
*A valid Reach Truck licence accredited by RTITB or ITSSAR (in-house licences will be considered for the right candidates)
*Previous experience operating Reach Truck D1 or D2
*Good communication skills
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Good spatial awareness
*The ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Flexibility and reliability
*A positive and proactive attitude
*Previous experience within a warehouse environment
Training:
*FLT assessment required prior to start
*Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
