Full job descriptionWe are currently recruiting for a temporary Food Production Operative to join a busy food production team based in Medway Towns.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is reliable, hardworking and comfortable working in a chilled food production environment. Following a successful 12-week period, there may be the opportunity for a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities*Preparing, slicing and packing meat products
*Working within a chilled production environment
*Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
*Carrying out lifting and manual handling duties where required
*Following all company health and safety procedures
*Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
*Working Monday-Thursday and Friday - no weekends.
Full PPE is provided, including safety boots.
Requirements*Comfortable handling meat products
*Able to work in a cold/chiller environment
*Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling and lifting
*Reliable, punctual and hardworking
*Good work ethic and a positive attitude
*Previous food production experience is beneficial but not essential
