Reed Education is working in partnership with a well-established and highly inclusive primary school in South East London to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from September.

The Role
As a HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You will work closely with class teachers and leadership teams to deliver high-quality learning experiences, provide targeted interventions and lead lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of year groups.
*Supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
*Leading small group and intervention sessions.
*Working collaboratively with teachers to support pupil progress.
*Creating a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
*Monitoring and recording pupil achievement and progress.
*Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking someone who:
*Holds HLTA status or has substantial experience in a similar role.
*Has experience working within a primary school setting.
*Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Is confident leading whole-class learning.
*Has a strong understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies.
*Is committed to inclusion and ensuring every child achieves their potential.
*Is flexible, proactive and able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
