Full job descriptionOur client are a prominent supplier of pharmaceutical & FMCG products, due to team expansion, they are currently seeking a Buying Manager to join their team based in Leicester
Hybrid working will be available, but candidates must be able to reliably commute to the office in Leicester.
£40,000 - £50,000 D.O.E
The Role
*Negotiate pricing and terms with both new and existing suppliers
*Source new product lines
*Manage stock and inventory
*Demand planning
*Stock forecasting
*Source new suppliers from the UK & overseas
The Candidate
*Previous buying experience in FMCG, Pharmaceuticals or product based wholesale
*CIPS would be desirable but is not essential
*3 years + experience in buying
*Confident in running of a buying department
*Mathematically competent
*Fully computer literate and proficient in excel
