About the Role / Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Functional Skills Tutor to deliver Functional Skills up to level 2 in English and Maths for young people aged 16-24. This role emphasizes a blended learning approach, utilizing both group sessions and one-on-one support to ensure learners achieve their qualifications. You will play a crucial role in fostering an inclusive learning environment that promotes skill development and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
*Organize and deliver Functional Skills lessons in English and Maths.
*Utilize digital delivery models for effective blended learning.
*Conduct initial assessments and create action plans for learners.
*Maintain a caseload of learners and monitor their progress.
*Individualize programs to meet the needs of employers and learners.
*Participate in team meetings and standardization processes.
*Ensure accurate administration and compliance with data protection regulations.
Education Requirements:
*Level 3 award in education and training (or equivalent).
*GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
Experience Requirements:
*Proven track record of delivering Functional Skills to young people aged 16-24.
*Experience in training and assessment delivery, both face-to-face and remotely.
*Experience working with SEND or high-need learners.
*Effective self-management and workload management skills.
*Ability to build and maintain relationships with learners and stakeholders.
