Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) looking to take the next step in your career?
Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Banbury, is looking to recruit a Senior Residential Conveyancer to join its thriving Property Department. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a quality caseload while playing a key role in mentoring colleagues, supporting the Head of Department and contributing to the continued growth of a successful conveyancing team.

The Role
You will manage your own varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion while supporting the leadership of a busy and successful department.


Your work will include:
*Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
*New build property transactions
*Shared ownership matters
*Transfers of equity
*Remortgages
*Equity release transactions
*First registrations
*Liaising with clients, estate agents, brokers and lenders
*Supervising and mentoring junior fee earners and support staff
*Assisting with compliance, CQS and Lexcel requirements
*Supporting business development, networking and departmental growth
About You
To be successful, you will ideally have:
*5+ years’ PQE as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX)
*Strong experience managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently
*Excellent technical knowledge of residential property law
*Previous supervisory, mentoring or team leadership experience (desirable)
*Strong client care and communication skills
*Commercial awareness with a proactive approach to business development
*Good understanding of AML, SRA, CQS and regulatory compliance
