Full job descriptionA prestigious Chartered Accountants firm is seeking a permanent Audit & Accounts Senior to join their team in South East London. This role will involve working closely with partners and managers to deliver high-quality statutory audit and accounts preparation services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring audit/accounts trainees while ensuring that all assignments are planned and executed proficiently.
*Proven experience in private company audits, including planning and executing onsite audits
*Extensive knowledge of current auditing standards, analytical reviews, and sampling techniques
*Significant experience in preparing statutory company accounts under UK GAAP, including those for charities
*ACA/ACCA qualified or Finalist is essential
*Strong verbal and written communication skills
*Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
*Strong interpersonal skills with an adaptable and positive attitude
*Professionalism and courtesy in client interactions
