As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set work in the absence of the classroom teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on task while maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:*Supervise whole classes during teacher absences.
*Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
*Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
*Ensure students remain focused and complete assigned work.
*Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student progress and engagement.
*Support the wider school team and contribute positively to school life.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:*Experience working with young people in an educational, coaching, mentoring, youth work, or similar setting.
*Strong communication and classroom management skills.
*Confidence leading groups of students independently.
*The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
*A flexible, proactive, and professional approach.
*A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
