Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver / Logistics Operative to join a busy warehouse and logistics team. This role involves receiving and booking in stock, moving materials safely, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting the smooth flow of goods throughout the operation.
The ideal candidate will hold a valid Forklift Truck license, have previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment. Strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
This is an ongoing role with the opportunity to stay long term. You need to be able to start within the next couple of weeks.
The Role
This is a very involved role where you will be working in a manufacturing stores environment. You will be responsible for booking in stock and distributing materials. You will need to ensure your work is always carried out in a safe manner and the relevant risk assessments are followed. You will be using an ERP system on a daily basis and must be physically capable of some lifting.
The Ideal Candidate
In order to be considered for this role, you will either need to have a Forklift licence or have had in house training. The ideal candidate will need to be able to work well under pressure and enjoy working in a small team. You will need good attention to detail and take pride in your work.
